When Justin Bieber rose to fame back in 2009, no one would have imagined that a year later a group of young British guys ready to eclipse his success. One Direction was undoubtedly the boy band of the moment for several years, formed for The X Factor, sponsored by Simon Cowell, with 5 talented members, overwhelming personalities and a physique that pulls back, they had everything to succeed. And they did it for a long time. They won several MTV Music Awards, played on the best stages (sold out at Madison Square Garden) and made covers for several international magazines.
