Since 2014, the International Day of Yoga is celebrated on June 21, a day dedicated to raising awareness among the population about the benefits of this millenary practice. Each year a different theme is chosen for the International Day of Yoga and for this fifth edition the theme chosen by the General Assembly of the United Nations is “Yoga for the heart.” The benefits of yoga have been demonstrated by the oriental culture since centuries.
